The rapid spread of the coronavirus pandemic across the world is impacting every facet of life.

In a bid to halt the Covid-19 spread throughout Mauritius, a national 2 weeks’ confinement has been deemed essential by the Government. Relevant institutions have estimated that the coronavirus epidemic could spread to around 40% of the world’s adult population, if appropriate containment measures are not adhered to. In case this lockdown is not taken seriously, this implies a possible casualty count of +400,000 individuals in Mauritius. With 15% requiring hospitalisation, we shall be at 60,000 cases; putting our health system under unprecedented stress and which in turn will significantly increase the risk of casualties.

In line with respective governmental policies during the confinement period, we wish to inform our customers, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders that we will use our best endeavours, with a skeletal team, to continue facilitating the movement of goods, especially essential commodities e.g. pharmaceutical and sanitary products, food and beverages, petroleum products, amongst others, to support public health and well-being.

We thank you for your support as we continue to work together during this challenging period.
